Learn Cricket USA was developed with one goal in mind:
Give kids in the USA what most of us had growing up - the joy of playing Cricket with our friends, and
Give them what most of us did not have - a chance for them to realize their potential and succeed in one of the most popular sport in the world.

Learn Cricket USA Mission Statement is to:
Facilitate a Fun and Safe environment for young players to develop Passion for Cricket, and gain Fitness while learning the Fundamentals of the game.

Our aim is to provide Cricket coaching at the grassroot level and develop a talented young player to the next level of competition; whether it be club cricket, Minor League Cricket (MiLC), Major League Cricket (MLC), or even to the National Team of the USA Cricket!

Our dream is to have one of our local boys and girls make it to the highest level of the competition.

Growing up, we played Cricket or “Ball-Bat” all-the-time, anywhere, and with anything that remotely resembled a ball and a bat; be it sticks, clipboards, or even slippers.

We played in living-rooms, small front porches and tiny backyards, narrow streets and open fields littered with rocks and debris.

We played all day and even at night during summer vacations. We broke so many glass window panes and lost so many balls to neighbors’ backyards, never to get them back.

We played Cricket a lot, and we played for fun. It was for the joy of being around friends, all the laughter, banters, arguments, and a sense of belonging to a team.

Unfortunately, most of our kids in the USA do not have that luxury to step out of the home and have friends around to play Cricket in the streets. They need a proper structure and advanced arrangements made in an open field to play with friends.

The Cricket in USA landscape is changing at a breakneck speed!

Have you heard about the Major League Cricket matches recently played in Dallas and North Carolina?
Some of the games were nationally televised on CBS Sports too!

Currently, there are six MLC teams, and potentially will be more in coming years:

Los Angeles Knight Riders.

MI New York.
San Francisco Unicorns.
Seattle Orcas.
Texas Super Kings.
Washington Freedom.

These are the teams with big influencers backing them. Influencers of the likes of Reliance’s Mukesh Ambani at Mumbai Indians NY, Shah Rukh Khan at Los Angeles Knight Riders, Satya Nadella at Seattle Orcas, Ross Perot Jr. at Texas Super Kings etc.

The 2024 ICC Men's T20 (Twenty20 International) World Cup was co-hosted in the USA along with West Indies, from June 1st to June 29th, 2024. Matches were played in Ft. Lauderdale, Dallas, and New York as well as countries in the Caribbean Islands.

In short, big things are happening for Cricket in the USA.
It’s just a matter of time when we are cheering for our children playing Cricket at the highest level in America!
